The world history saw the contemporary increase in population in the mid 18th century. Chicago became part of it a century later. Sources of food and transport links were crucial for that increase, so Chicago having both of them soon became a central spot. The last two decades of the 20th century saw Atlanta undergoing a number of significant trends like suburban growth and development. However, one of Atlanta’s major problems is racial segregation. This is evident in the suburbs which are inhabited by white and the city is predominantly black.
